Each client at England & Company is assigned a Director or Associate Director as their primary point of contact. Additionally, they are paired with a designated client manager from our team. This client manager oversees all aspects of the client's requirements, including accounts preparation, tax matters, and company secretarial tasks. Our collaborative approach ensures that each client receives tailored and responsive assistance suited to their unique business circumstances.

By combining technical expertise with extensive experience, we proactively guide our clients through every stage of their business journey. Our approach resonates particularly well with entrepreneurial and commercial business owners seeking comprehensive support. Our history

England & Company was formed in 1979 by Richard England (our namesake) alongside Cheryl’s father (David). The practice was initially located above Barclays Bank in Wimborne Town centre, and grew throughout the 1980’s, servicing clients from a variety of trades and professions with a focus on construction sector. After Richard England’s retirement, the firm moved to offices at West Borough in the late 1980’s. By this time Cheryl had joined the firm and took on clients of her own before becoming a partner in 1997. 

The firm then incorporated into its current status as a Limited Company in 2002. We moved to new, larger premises at 7 & 8 Church Street, Wimborne in early 2008, offering scope for further expansion and a convenient town centre location for the firm’s clients and this coincided with Daniel being appointed a Director. The next decade brought about continued growth, and by the time Matt joined as Director in 2019 the firm had grown to a team of 25, in its 40th anniversary year. Further incremental growth has resulted in the appointment of Lauren and Ian as Associate Directors in 2023 and we now have a team of 32.
