In a Nutshell

I am a Chartered Certified Accountant who has been practising as an accountant since leaving school. I look after a varied selection of clients as well as overseeing the practice compliance and quality assurance.

Qualifications & Experience

After leaving school (too long ago to admit to!) I joined a Chartered Accountancy practice based in Bridport, Dorset. Moving to a different firm in Bridport, I qualified in 2003 and became a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in 2008. I joined England and Company in 2007 and I was proud to become a Director in 2019.

Specialist Subjects

I specialise in corporate accounting and taxation. My knowledge has been built up over a number of years and an array of different business sectors, working with owner managed businesses, from start-ups to long established companies.

In My Freetime

I love walking and going on slightly ‘off the beaten track’ holidays. I also have an unfortunate affliction towards golf, having played since the age of 10. In 2012, my wife and I bought a 200-year-old run down town house on the Weymouth seafront. After a long renovation, I couldn’t imagine living anywhere else.
